PRIVATELY OWNED AND OPERATED
At Honey New Zealand we operate a privately owned, fully integrated model - from hive to home.
That means from the land, beehives and beekeepers, to the extraction and packing facilities through to exporting; we own and manage every step of the process.
SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY
In our wild bushland is where the honeybees forage on our Manuka bushes, just as nature intended. Working alongside our team of 20 bee-keepers fully trained in bee welfare and sustainable harvesting.
PROTECTING OUR NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
We are also committed to planting 360,000 Manuka bush seedlings to protect future supply of our honey which is currently shipped to reduce carbon footprint and packaged in recyclable plastic to save weight and further travel emissions.
R-PET RECYCLED PLASTIC
All Manuka Doctor honey is exported from New Zealand in shelf-ready rPET recycled jars. The advantage of this is they are light, unbreakable and have a better environmental balance than glass.
