📍Help us support our local children’s hospice and the families they care for

Why Rainbows?

When a child isn’t going to live a long life, every single day matters. Rainbows is the children’s hospice for the East Midlands, where our UK HQ is based. So we know about the amazing work they do, helping families make the most of the time they have.

They provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care for babies, children and young people with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions, as well as
supporting their families.

A very special design

The children at Rainbows helped us design this special limited-edition label. Inside it's the same 70 MGO 500g Manuka honey which we're famous for. But on the outside it's wrapped with care with a specially designed label featuring hand coloured drawings by the Children at Rainbows.

How it all started

Hear how Stephen, Managing Director of Manuka Doctor found out about Rainbows...

"It started with a chance conversation between two neighbours.

Ann Marie, a nurse at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, told me about the vital care they provide to children and families, and how  important donations are to keeping their services available and free.

And that’s how the Manuka Doctor x Rainbows limited-edition pot came about. No big corporate plan, just two neighbours and a shared desire to do something meaningful.

£4 from every pot sold will be donated to Rainbows Children’s Hospice."

Families love our Manuka Honey

Manuka Doctor is proud to support many families across the UK who consider Manuka honey a lifeline for their health and wellbeing.

Chris Wescott and his family rely on Manuka Doctor every day to support their immunity:

Our 3 year old daughter Elsie is immunocompromised and so Manuka Doctor honey is an everyday support for us as a family. Elsie calls it her ‘special honey’. As far as Elsie is concerned, the honey is not a medicine, it’s just part of our breakfast regime and everyday grocery shop. It’s a bonus that the honey has other benefits. There are so many ways to take it. I recommend it to everyone. If you enjoy great tasting honey, you’ll enjoy this.
