Recently we ran a series of customer surveys asking for your opinion of Manuka Doctor, the products we sell and how we can improve our service.

The good news is the overwhelming majority of you felt like you were already getting good service! Respondents commented on the strength of our promotions, speed of our delivery, and quality of our products.

There were several common questions and themes in the recent feedback which we are happy to answer in this blog.

You asked: This is Genuine Manuka isn’t it?

We said: One hundred per cent yes! That’s why we have a section on our website called Trace My Batch. By simply typing in the batch code stamped on the side of your jar you can view the independent laboratory tests that were conducted on your batch of honey – proving it met the strict New Zealand standard, and all important MGO level. You asked: Can we spend our Loyalty Points on honey yet?

We said: Absolutely! With our new Hive Points Loyalty Scheme you earn points every time you shop with Manuka Doctor, and the points you earn can now be redeemed on EVERY product we sell. A big improvement on our older Loyalty scheme.

You asked: Can we have a catalogue with all the products you sell

We said: This was a common question! As the Manuka Doctor range has expanded to include not just Honey and Skincare but Supplements, Immunity Products, a Care range and accessories – putting everything into one brochure has not been possible. Until now! Keep an eye on your post in the coming months for a new look Sales Catalogue.

You asked: Can we reduce the amount of plastic packaging?

We said: Yes – and we will continue to do so. The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed that our skincare products now come without the plastic wrapping that used to enclose each product. We are constantly reviewing our products and packaging to reduce waste and will continue to do so.

You asked: Is there a way we can try before we buy?

We said: While it’s not feasible for us to offer testers, we are in the process of launching a series of “Buy and Try” promotions where some of our popular skincare products are priced at a very low rate to encourage trial. We hope this allows people to try more products to see if they are right for their skin type.

You asked: Have you got more information where we can learn more?
