Manuka Doctor Design Competition

To celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we are inviting entrants to create a design to be used on our packaging for a limited edition of our 500g Honey to be offered for sale for a limited time only.


This promotion is operated by Manuka Doctor UK Ltd. whose registered office is 21 Waterfield Way, Sketchley Lane Industrial Estate, Hinckley, Leicester, LE10 3ER, United Kingdom (“we”, “our”, “us”, “the promoter”).

1 How to participate

1.1 In order to enter this promotion, go to our website via the link here [[insert URL] and download the template OR send an email to if you cannot download the PDF template to print and we will post a printed copy of the template to your home address (you are responsible for paying sufficient postage on your entry).

1.2 This promotion is open to UK residents only and open to entrants of any age. If you are under 16 years of age, you acknowledge to us by entering this competition that your parents/guardians have consented to your entry and to the terms of the promotion, which they have read. Proof of age and identity may be required.

1.3 For those entrants aged 16 or under, a parent or guardian must provide their consent to the application provided on the consent form overleaf.

1.4 All entries must include your name, email address, postal address (including postcode), age and telephone number. For those entrants that are aged under 16, the email address and home address of your parent or guardian must be provided on submission of your entry.

1.5 Entries that do not comply with these promotion rules will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

1.6 You may only submit one entry to this promotion

1.7 Illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. We do not accept responsibility for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries will not be returned.

1.8 All entrants will receive 200 loyalty points that the entrant can use against any purchases of the promoter’s products made either via the promoter’s website or by telephone (Hive Points). In order to receive Hive Points, the entrant must either have a customer account on the promoter’s website with a valid email address or for entrants that place orders by telephone a dummy customer account that uses a disposable email address. The Hive Points will be allocated to the account or available to use against telephone orders once the promotion has closed.

2 Start date

This promotion will start at 9:00am 1st September 2022.

3 Closing date

The closing date for this promotion will be 30 September 2022 at 23:59pm. Entries received by the promoter after this time will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

4 Selection of the winner

4.1 There will be one winner of the promotion only.

4.2 The winner of the competition will be the submission chosen by Manuka Doctor to be the most individual and creative designs out of all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.

5 Prize

5.1 The prize is as follows:

5.1.1 Hamper filled with a variation of Manuka Doctor products available on their website worth a retail value of £1,000

5.2 There is no alternative prize. The prize is non-transferable and does not include any additional costs and expenses.

5.3 The prize will be sent to the winner’s address provided upon entry to the promotion. For those entrants aged 16 or under, the prize will be sent to their parent or guardian’s home address.

6 Restrictions and requirements

6.1 Please note the following restrictions and requirements apply:

6.1.1 A design must not contain any photographic images;

6.1.2 A design must not contain any nudity, violence, blood and gore, sexual themes, strong language, offensive or defamatory material or ideologically sensitive themes.

6.2 Employees of the promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this promotion.

7 Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

7.1 The promoter will notify the winner by email on or before Friday 7 October 2022

7.2 The winner will receive their prize within 10 working days of the entrant responding to the winning email.

8 Publicity and personal information

8.1 The promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our privacy policy which can be found here.

8.2 The promoter reserves the right to repost the images shared by applicants on its social media platforms, website, print marketing and email marketing.

8.3 The forename, county and a short blog about the winner will be published on our website and social media platforms until removed by the promoter. You acknowledge that you may be asked to participate in publicity if you are selected as a winner.

9 General

9.1 By entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and that our decision is final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion. If you fail to comply with these terms and conditions your entry will automatically be void.

9.2 Entrants acknowledge that copyright in submissions will be owned by the promoter. Entrants designs must be their work only and upon submission you agree to assign to the promoter all intellectual property rights in the submission with full title guarantee and to waive your moral rights. You agree to enter into any formal legal documentation required to give effect to this assignment.

9.3 While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the promotion or which are caused by a third party.

9.4 The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country.

9.5 Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.
