PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS: VW take UP! 1.0 60PS 5spd 3 Door Manual
1. The Promoter
The Promoter of this prize draw is Manuka Doctor (UK) Ltd of Unit 21 Waterfield Way, Sketchley Lane Industrial Estate, Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 3ER, United Kingdom.
2. The Prize Draw
2.1 The title of the prize draw is VW take UP! Draw (the “Prize Draw").
2.2 The Prize Draw is open to anybody (as long as you are considered eligible in accordance with clause 4 below) that has placed an order to purchase any Manuka Doctor products (“Manuka Products”) sold exclusively from www.manukadoctor.co.uk (the “Website") between 9am 4th April 2019 to midnight 1st May 2019 (the “Promotional Period”) to be in with a chance of winning a Volkswagen Take UP! 1.0 60PS 5spd 3 Door Manual in Tornado Red (the “Prize”).
2.3 By placing an order and purchasing any Manuka Products exclusively from the Website and ticking the ‘Enter me into the Win a Car prize draw I have read and understood the Prize Draw T&Cs’ box which appears at cart on the Website, you will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw.
3. How to Enter the Prize Draw
3.1 The opening date for entries into the Prize Draw is on 9am 4th April 2019 (the “Opening Date").
3.2 The closing date for entries into the Prize Draw is midnight on 1st May 2019 (the “Closing Date").
3.3 Entries received prior to the Opening Date and after the Closing Date will not be considered as part of the Prize Draw. Only orders for Manuka Products placed and purchased in the Promotional Period from the Website will be entered into the Prize Draw (“Prize Draw Entry”).
3.4 To enter the Prize Draw you must place an order and purchase at least one Manuka Product in a transaction exclusively from the Website between the Promotional Period and tick the ‘Enter me into the Win a Car prize draw I have read & understood the prize draw T&Cs’ box on the cart page on the Website.
3.5 You will have one Prize Draw Entry per transaction made on the Website. A unique order number (the “Order Number”) will be generated following a Prize Draw Entry.
3.6 By submitting a Prize Draw Entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.7 The winning entrant of the Prize will be chosen by the selection of one of the Order Numbers entered into the Prize Draw picked at random by a computer process supervised by an independent person on 2nd May 2019 (“Draw Date”).
3.8 If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or Website failure occurs when you purchase Manuka Products online from the Website, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete purchases and any incomplete purchases will not be considered a valid Prize Draw Entry. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any purchases of the Manuka Products which are not completed for any reason.
4. Eligibility
4.1 All entrants to the Prize Draw must be resident in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), aged 18 years or over and hold a valid full UK driving licence.
4.2 Employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Prize Draw are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
4.3 Manuka Doctor reserves all rights to disqualify any Prize Draw Entries which are contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.
5. The Prize
5.1 Following the Prize Draw taking place, we shall notify the winning entrant in accordance with clause 8.
5.2 Winning entrants will be requested to send to the Promoter within 10 days of accepting the Prize and prior to the collection of the Prize COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION BY EMAIL TO customerservices@manukadoctor.co.uk:
- their photo ID
- their current valid UK driving licence; and
- valid insurance certificate for the Prize held in their name.
THE PRIZE CANNOT BE COLLECTED AS SET OUT AT CLAUSE 6 WITHOUT MANUKA DOCTOR BEING IN RECEIPT OF THE ABOVE VALID DOCUMENTATION FROM THE WINNING ENTRANT. IF VALID DOCUMENTATION IS NOT PRESENTED TO US, IT IS AT OUR DISCRETION TO NOT AWARD THE PRIZE TO THE WINNING ENTRANT.
5.3 Subject to clause 5.2, the selected winning entrant will receive the Prize. The specification for the Prize cannot be altered.
6. Claiming Your Prize
6.1 The winning entrant must be able to collect the Prize from:

The winning entrant must arrange the collection and hand over of the Prize directly with Listers by contacting them on 02476 321 421. Collection and hand over of the Prize can only be between Monday – Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm.
6.2 The Prize is non-transferable and will be registered in the winning entrants name.
6.3 All Order Numbers can only be claimed once. Any further attempts to claim the Prize by using an already redeemed Order Number will be invalid and no further Prizes will be awarded.
6.4 The Prize is supplied by Listers. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.
6.5 The winning entrant must arrange their own travel to collect the Prize. The winning entrant does so at their own risk and cost. Manuka Doctor cannot be held responsible for any travel delays. Any other costs the winning entrant incurs in addition to travelling to collect the Prize are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize and are the winning entrant’s responsibility.
6.6 The winning entrant must be able to collect the Prize in May 2019.
6.8 Manuka Doctor will not accept any responsibility if the winning entrant is unable to claim the Prize for any reason.
7. Cash Alternative
If the winning entrant is unable to obtain valid car insurance for the Prize held in their name in accordance with clause 5.2, a cash alternative of £2,000 ("Cash Alternative") provided by the Promoter can be taken by the winning entrant only. If taken, the Prize is forfeited and the Cash Alternative will be paid by the Promoter into a UK bank account nominated by the winning entrant within 30 days of the winning entrant accepting the Prize. If the winning entrant opts for the Cash Alternative when confirming acceptance of the Prize the decision cannot be reversed.
8. How to claim the Prize
8.1 Following the Prize Draw the Promoter will notify the winning entrant by telephone (using the details supplied by the winning entrant on entry to the Prize Draw) on the 2nd May 2019. The Promoter will attempt to contact the winning entrant three times by telephone.
8.2 The winning entrant must provide to the Promoter within 10 days of accepting the Prize with:
(i) confirmation of their wish to take up the Prize or the Cash Alternative;
(ii) a scanned copy of their valid UK passport; and a scanned copy of their valid full UK driving licence.
(iii) Valid insurance for the Prize within four working days of accepting the Prize held in their name.
8.3 If the winning entrant does not respond to the Promoter by midnight on the 12th May 2019 with the information and documentation required to claim the Prize as set out at clause 8.2 or the documentation presented is not valid then the winning entrants Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winning entrant in accordance with the process described above at clause 3.7.
8.4 The details of the Prize will be sent to the winning entrant by email on the day that the winning entrant accepts the Prize and provides the documentation required to claim the Prize in accordance with clause 5.2.
8.5 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the Prize to anyone that is in breach of these terms and conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winning entrant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize or Cash Alternative except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9.2 The specifications for the Prize is established well in advance but may be subject to alteration without notice by Listers. Alterations to the Prize that come about in this manner will be fully communicated to the winning entrant but are not the Promoter's financial responsibility. The Promoter can give no guarantee as to the exact specification of the Prize and the Promoter will not be liable for failure of any other services beyond its control.
10. Data Protection
10.1 Manuka Doctor will only process personal information under this Prize Draw as set out in the Privacy Policy.
11. Winner Announcement
11.1 If you are a winner of the Prize, we shall seek your consent when we contact you to confirm you are the winning entrant as to whether you agree to us publishing your name and photograph, as well as conducting a short interview with you for the Website, our social media accounts or any other media platform to promote the Prize Draw and subsequent prize draws.
11.2 If you are a winning entrant, your name and address will be passed on to Listers to administer the Prize.
12. General
12.1 The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
12.2 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
12.3 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
